Perks of home purcs - No waiting in line

I admit I enjoy a pot, er – I mean, a cup of coffee daily. I love everything about my ritual. The early morning aroma alerts my senses and gives me focus. Having a cup of coffee first thing of the morning wakes me up and gets me going but in a relaxing way. It’s my start to being productive. Every morning, it’s just me and the bean, plotting and planning my tasks for the day.

My affection for coffee is not unusual. Statistics say Americans consume 400 MILLION cups of coffee per day. There are health benefits of coffee.  Many nutrients found in the coffee bean survive the percolation process. Packed with antioxidants and vitamins such as riboflavin, magnesium, and potassium, coffee can help lessen depression, promote a healthy heart and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and liver disease. Plus, it’s great for the kidneys. Since coffee has caffeine, the beverage can make you feel less tired. It’s important to point out that even with the added benefits of coffee, it should be consumed in moderation.

Enter the at home coffee bar, where there’s no long lines and you get what your ordered, every time! It’s your dedicated spot for all things java. The place where you add personality and style. The very notion is appealing, visually and for the taste buds.

It’s easy get started. Pick a spot to set up, whether it’s a awkward corner on the kitchen countertops or a repurposed piece of furniture. Then stock it with all your favorite add-ins. Easy.

Take a look at these home coffee bars for inspiration. Bonus points to you if you’re enjoying a cup of coffee while you read this post.

Welcoming charm is the vibe for this natural coffee bar set up. The cotton boll wreath is a beautiful centerpiece on the two-tone buffet with a gorgeous mirror backdrop. The creamy beige colors combined with white and black accents make this at home coffee bar a hit. Notice the glass dome cake stand, stocked with muffins? The tiered cake stand dressed with accessories? Stock your coffee bar for a single day’s needs, then change out the accessories with food when company is coming.

Floating wood shelves and the wall mounted cup holder are nice touches to the barndoor buffet. Notice the flavor add-in bottles and the coffee pods are part of the decorations? You can’t go wrong adding Buffalo plaid curtains for the farmhouse vibe. Seriously, it’s farmhouse-101 for a reason.

This coffee bar has everything. It takes up a whole wall! EEK! I feel like a kid in a candy store! Look at all the choices! Cups, add-ins, several coffee makers, and a metal container of tulips. The setup rivals commercial coffee bars in the cafes of Europe. Just goes to show you can scale up, as big as you want. The sky’s the limit when you design your own coffee bar.
