Anything is better homemade and crafts are no exception. The joy of giving (and selling!) something you’ve created is magnified by adding that personal touch. There’s a sense of pride when someone asks where you purchased their gift and you tell them you made it! Crafting is addictive, but dutifully rewarding.

Of course, it can be intimidating to start anything new plus there is the ‘investment’ of craft supplies. All you need at first is an idea. I like to repurpose a lot of items, and crafting is a great source to make use of something that needs reincarnation.
